Four other individuals remain hospitalized due to the numerous shootings, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports, as cited by Breitbart News.

In one of the shooting attacks, a 21-year-old man perished due to multiple gunshot wounds, and two others, both in their teens, were wounded in the triple shooting.

The incident occurred at about 8:45 pm on Friday, on the 5600 block of Baltimore Avenue in West Philadelphia, according to a police report.

The murdered man was identified as Michael Goodwin, of the 1200 block of South Greylock Street.

The two other victims were rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. One of them, a 16-year-old, was in stable condition, but the other, 17, was fighting for his life.

The police haven’t made any arrests in the case, haven’t seized any weapons, and say they have no information on what caused the shooting.

Another shooting, which occurred an hour earlier in a barbershop in the 2000 block of Kensington Avenue, claimed a 43-year-old man’s life named Adinson Suarez-Marte.

Marte, of the 3000 block of Hartville Street, suffered several gunshot wounds to the torso and was pronounced dead shortly after being taken by police to Temple University Hospital.

No weapons were seized, and no arrests were made, but police are seeking up to eight men clad in black clothes and face masks.

Another lethal shooting in Philadelphia over the weekend was a suspected murder-suicide in an apartment in the 100 block of East Roosevelt Boulevard.

29-year-old Katie Dales was shot multiple times in the head. The police also found the body of an unidentified 27-year-old male in the apartment with a single gunshot wound to the mouth and the presumed murder weapon.

An unidentified 38-year-old man was shot and wounded in the 5900 block of Pine Street. Upon arrival at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, he was judged to be in stable condition.

The case also hasn’t seen any arrests or weapon discoveries, and the motives for the shooting remain unclear.

In a different shooting, another unidentified 38-year-old man was shot and wounded by two men in their early 30s. The shooting occurred in the 4600 block of North Fifth Street, and the victim was in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.

In another case, a 41-year-old woman got shot near 27th Street and Lehigh Avenue. She suffered two gunshot wounds to the neck and face. No arrests have been made.

In 2023 so far, up through Friday, Philadelphia had seen 155, a 14% decline compared with 2022. However, the number is still higher than in any year since 2007, except for 2022.

In the year through Thursday, the Democrat-run city saw 654 shooting victims.
