Abortions MIGRATE – SHOCKING Data

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Shocking new data has emerged indicating the resilience of abortionism as a liberal mindset ideology promoted by the left as over 170,000 women have sought abortion services outside their home state since January of the previous year, as highlighted by recent findings from the Guttmacher Institute.

This trend emphasizes the mounting challenges faced by many in accessing such care, The Hill comments in a report.

The data indicates that out-of-state procedures constituted over 15 percent of the roughly 1 million clinician-administered abortions from 2023 to March of this year, a significant increase from the numbers reported in 2020.

“Traveling for abortion care requires individuals to overcome huge financial and logistical barriers, and our findings show just how far people will travel to obtain the care they want and deserve,” stated Isaac Maddow-Zimet, a data scientist at Guttmacher.

“Despite the amazing resiliency of abortion patients and providers, we can’t lose sight of the fact that this is neither normal nor acceptable. A person should not have to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to receive basic health care,” Maddow-Zimet added.

The rapid implementation of stringent abortion restrictions in fourteen states follows the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision in 2022, which rescinded a longstanding federal mandate ensuring abortion access.

As a result, neighboring states like Kansas and New Mexico have experienced a surge in the number of out-of-state patients, comprising the majority of their abortion cases.

Texas, noted for its highly restrictive abortion laws, exemplifies the tightening of regulations across the country.

Until recently, Florida was known for its comparably accessible abortion services. However, the state enacted a severe six-week abortion prohibition earlier this year.

“The state of residence data makes it clear that this policy change will be devastating not only for Floridians, but also for the thousands of others who would have traveled there after being denied care in their home states,” remarked Kelly Baden, Vice President of Guttmacher, concerning the impact of Florida’s restrictive measures.

These legislative changes are poised to influence political dynamics significantly.

Florida, for instance, has an abortion rights proposal slated for the upcoming November ballot, and Democrats are optimistic that these referendums could bolster voter participation.

Furthermore, the Institute noted that two-thirds of the approximate 1 million abortions were conducted using medication, a method which remained under legal scrutiny until a recent Supreme Court decision affirmed the federal government’s right to impose limitations on specific abortion medications.
