ALERT: Southern Border Violence Growing

Red alert light against black background, text ALERT.

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – The violence from the Sinaloa cartel along the U.S.-Mexico border is reaching dangerous levels as it is threatening the safety of U.S. Border Patrol agents and Americans.

Border Patrol agents in western Texas now face the terrifying prospect of being shot at by Sinaloa Cartel members as they were authorized to use lethal force against U.S. law enforcement.

An internal memo sent to federal agents in the El Paso sector revealed that the Sinaloa Cartel has given its members “permission” to fire at U.S. Border Patrol agents.

This chilling directive follows a shooting incident involving contractors in Eagle Pass, Texas, who reported being fired upon through the border fence.

The escalation in violence is directly linked to recent arrests of key cartel leaders, including cofounder Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada and Joaquín Guzmán López.

Meanwhile, these arrests have fractured the cartel’s leadership, leading to increased infighting and a more aggressive stance towards U.S. law enforcement.

Former Homeland Security Investigation agent Victor Avila highlighted the growing audacity of the cartels, stating, “They fear no one anymore, especially US law enforcement.”

The situation has become so dire that former Donald Trump has called for a military operation to combat the cartels’ power and wealth.

This decisive action stands in stark contrast to the current administration’s weak border policies, which have allowed the crisis to spiral out of control.

However, the violence is not confined to the border region. In Sinaloa, Mexico, over 190 people have been killed due to escalating conflicts among cartel factions.

The cartels have established checkpoints in Culiacán, where they search drivers’ phones for rival contacts, often resulting in violent confrontations.

Moreover, Representative Mark Green (R-TN) emphasized the increasing dangers faced by Border Patrol agents.

“We have long heard from Border Control agents that they face increased risks in their frontline jobs,” Green stated, highlighting the need for immediate action to protect those safeguarding our border.

The threat extends beyond Border Patrol agents. In Nogales, Arizona, Police Chief Jeffrey Kirkham reported receiving threats after off-duty officers busted a pot smuggling ring.

The cartels have threatened to use sniper fire against officers who continue to seize drug shipments while off-duty, marking a dangerous escalation in their tactics.

Miguel Calderón, a local observer, described a social emergency unfolding in affected areas, “Little by little, day by day, people live in fear, schools are empty, young people are disappearing, the streets are empty at night.”

As the situation continues to deteriorate, it is clear that the current administration’s policies have failed to protect American citizens and law enforcement officers.
