(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – If she were a man, there would be those that would say United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) – better known as AOC and a member of The Squad – has a big pair.
After all, if you’re going to tell Texans that you will turn their reliably Red State into a Blue State – and say it while you are on their home turf – you better have a big pair.
Still, that’s precisely what AOC did this weekend while campaigning in Texas on behalf of Texas Democrats.
As Fox News reported:
“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., told a Texas crowd Saturday that it is inevitable that Texas will turn blue as she endorsed two candidates for Congress prior to the primary next month.
“Ocasio-Cortez, who has had mixed results when endorsing candidates, was in San Antonio to support the campaigns of Jessica Cisneros and Greg Casar. MySanAntonio.com reported that Ocasio-Cortez told the crowd that the two have her backing because they back Medicare for all, unions and reproductive freedom.” [emphasis added]
And, here’s AOC in her own words at the campaign stop:
“Here’s what’s exciting about Jessica’s race and Greg’s race … is that if we flip Texas, we flip the country.” [AOC] continued, “Texas turning blue is inevitable. The only question is when. We are going to fight for a living wage, we are going to make sure we unionize the hell out of this state … and we’re going to make sure that not one dime is made exploitatively across any worker, especially the undocumented.” [emphasis added]
Now read those words from AOC and ask yourself how likely that is to happen in Texas – one of the reddest red states in the United States of America. AOC and the Democrats will turn Texas blue with unions, abortion, illegal aliens, and Medicare for all? We suspect that’s not likely.
