Biden Admin Pressured Twitter to Suppress Valid COVID Info?!?

( – President Joe Biden’s administration routinely pressured Twitter’s previous management to censor or promote users depending on whether their COVID-19 pandemic stance was in line with the official government narratives, a fresh leak of the “Twitter Files” has revealed.

The new set of internal Twitter records was provided by the social media platform’s new owner Elon Musk to David Zweig, an independent journalist writing for The Free Press.

It showed that Twitter was “censoring info that was true but inconvenient” to the Democrat-run US government, Zweig reported in a 40-tweet story, as cited by The New York Post.

The report noted that the Trump administration initially tried to pressure Twitter to block posts about “grocery store runs” and panic buying at the onset of the pandemic.

However, the Biden administration leaned on Twitter much more heavily, getting it to suppress “anti-vaxxer” information regardless of whether it came from regular users or medical and scientific experts.

Earlier Twitter File leaks showed that Biden’s presidential campaign in 2016 actively colluded with Twitter to censor revelations based on Hunter Biden’s lost “laptop from hell.”

One of the more high-profile cases of Twitter censoring a user on the White House’s demands was that of journalist Alex Berenson who was banned in June 2021. The ban came several hours after Biden stated publicly social media was “killing people” because they were allowing “vaccine misinformation.”

Berenson sued Twitter and forced it to publish internal documents disclosing the White House had pressured it.

“It doesn’t stop infection. Or transmission. Don’t think of it as a vaccine,” Berenson had tweeted.

“Think of it — at best — as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS,” he had written.

The Twitter Files contain an April 2021 message from the Slack app in which an unnamed Twitter employee noted the Biden administration “had one really tough question about why Alex Berenson hasn’t been kicked off from the platform.”

According to Zweig, evidence of the Biden team’s pressure is as fresh as this month, as detailed by Twitter’s head of US public policy, Lauren Culbertson, in many meetings.

In her notes, she said the administration was “very angry” that the social media company had been more “aggressive” in censoring vaccine critics and had told it to do more.

Under pressure from the Biden White House also cracked down on legitimate opinions by medical experts such as Harvard Medical School epidemiologist Dr. Martin Kulldorff.

In March 2021, he posted that people “with prior natural infection do not need” the COVID-19 vaccine, “[n]or [do] children.”

Even though his tweet was based on the vaccine policies of several countries, it was still declared “misleading” by Twitter, Zweig revealed.

Another physician, Rhode Island-based Andrew Bostom, was banned after tweeting information that was “legitimate but inconvenient to the public health establishment’s narrative about the risks of flu versus Covid in children.”

Bostom’s account was reinstated almost two years later, on Christmas morning.

“Thanks to David Zweig for exposing the grotesque injustice of Twitter‘s suspension of many accounts, including my own, due to alleged covid “misinformation” i.e., evidence-based data rebutting the warped but “accepted” narrative,” the doctor wrote.
