While making a statement about the economy at the White House, Biden frequently mentioned MAGA. He seemed eager to draw comparisons between his progressive policies and the MAGA agenda.
Biden answered several questions about the next steps in the fight over abortion after Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed Tuesday that a draft opinion leaked was authentic. This suggests that the Supreme Court could be ready to reverse the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion across the country.
Biden began one of his responses by recalling that he was the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee during the 1987 Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Robert Bork. Biden then turned his attention to MAGA.
“This MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history, in recent American history,” Biden said.
Going further, Biden said, What happens if you have states change the law saying that children who are LBGTQ can’t be in classrooms with other children? Is that legit under the way that the decision is written? What are the next things that are going to be attacked?”
