Biden Blocks GOP Gov. Kristi Noem – AGAIN!

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – President Joe Biden’s administration has once again denied South Dakota GOP Gov. Kristi Noem’s request to hold an Independence Day fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore, drawing criticism from former President Donald Trump.

Noem took to social media to express her disappointment, saying, “The best way to celebrate America’s Birthday is with fireworks at Mount Rushmore.” She went on to say that the Biden administration had rejected her request.

Former President Trump, who delivered a July 3, 2020, speech at Mount Rushmore the last time fireworks were permitted there, also weighed in on the matter. He posted on social media that it was “ridiculous that it is no longer allowed” and that it was “so great for USA spirit.”

Trump, who was president at the time, had previously vowed to protect America and Mount Rushmore from what he called “a merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame our heroes, erase our values, and indoctrinate our children.”

He went on to say that there could be no better place to celebrate America’s Independence than at Mount Rushmore and that, as president, he would ensure that the monument would never be desecrated and that the heroes depicted there would never be defaced.

Trump also promised that if he were to be elected president again in 2024, he would bring the fireworks celebration back to Mount Rushmore in 2025. He said that as president, he would ensure that the event would happen again and that he loved Mount Rushmore.

The decision by the Biden administration to deny the request for a fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore has once again sparked a debate about the preservation of America’s historical landmarks and the importance of celebrating Independence Day.

While some argue that fireworks can damage the natural beauty of these landmarks and that there are other ways to celebrate the holiday, others believe that fireworks are an essential part of the celebration and help bring the country together.

Regardless of one’s opinion on the matter, it is clear that Mount Rushmore holds a special place in the hearts of many Americans and that the decision to deny Gov. Noem’s request for a fireworks celebration has once again brought attention to the ongoing debate about how best to celebrate and preserve America’s history and heritage.
