Biden Equates Buffalo Mass Murder to January 6 Protest

Joe and Jill Biden in Buffalo, New York

( – Yesterday, while attending a ceremony to honor and mourn the ten people who were slain during a mass shooting last Saturday at a Buffalo, New York grocery store, Joe Biden equated that horrific event with the protest that took place at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.

As Breitbart recounts in “Joe Biden Connects Buffalo Mass Shooting to January 6“:

“President Joe Biden connected the racist mass shooting in Buffalo on Saturday to the protests of Trump supporters on January 6.

“The president cited January 6th riots after calling all Americans to “reject white supremacy” because they were making the country look bad.”

After further condemning white supremacy, Biden tried to make the connection between the mass murder in Buffalo and the January 6 protest, saying:

“‘As president of the United States, I travel the world all the time. And other nations ask me, heads of state in other countries ask me, what’s going on? What in God’s name happened on January 6th? What happened in Buffalo,’ Biden said.”

As one political pundit noted after the speech, Biden made a conclusory statement without ever offering any rationale for why he believes what took place in Buffalo is comparable to what took place at the United States Capitol.
