Biden Finally Does It?!

( – In what seems like nothing short of a pathetic attempt at neutralizing Donald Trump’s campaigning, President Joe Biden is finally going to visit the Southern Border, the scene of the nation’s illegal immigrant invasion – but will do so on the same day as the former president.

More than ten million illegal immigrant crossings into the United States have been registered on Biden’s watch in the three years since he occupied the White House.

At least two million of those have been known gotaways, according to US Customs and Border Protection.

Biden is now planning a trip to the US-Mexican border this week to engage with local authorities who have been grappling with the overwhelming illegal immigration issue during his tenure.

According to The New York Times, Biden’s visit to Brownsville, Texas, coincides with a previously scheduled visit by former President Donald Trump, who intends to assess the situation at the border on the same day.

A report by The Daily Wire stresses that Biden’s trip is a response to an influx of over 7.2 million illegal immigrants in his first three years in office.

The figure is greater than the population of three dozen US states.

It comments further that this situation poses a substantial challenge to Biden’s prospects of re-election, as public opinion polls indicate that a majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the current state of affairs at the border and hold the president accountable.

The Trump campaign criticized Biden’s planned visit as a “last-minute, insincere attempt to chase President Trump to the border.”

“Crooked Joe Biden has had three years to visit the border and fix the crisis he created. Now Biden’s handlers are sending him there on the same day as President Trump’s publicly reported trip, not because they actually want to solve the problem, but because they know Biden is losing terribly,” commented Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for Trump.

Despite this, reports suggest that Biden intends to point fingers at House Republicans for the crisis, even though the issue was nearly as severe during his first two years in office when Democrats had control over the entire federal government.

“He will discuss the urgent need to pass the Senate bipartisan border security agreement, the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border in decades,” a White House official told Politico.

The official added that Biden “will reiterate his calls for Congressional Republicans to stop playing politics and to provide the funding needed for additional US Border Patrol agents, more asylum officers, fentanyl detection technology and more.”
