(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – One of the most subversive and evil developments in how the federal government of the United States of America now operates is the fact that both parties have done away with “regular order.”
Under regular order, proposed legislation starts as an individual bill drafted by one or more members of Congress; goes to a sub-committee for a hearing and a vote; then to a full committee for a hearing and a vote; and, finally, to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate for debate, amendments, and a vote. Even after that, the bill must be reconciled between the House and Senate in a joint committee to obtain identical language and one more vote for final passage before going to the President for his signature or veto.
As most patriots know, for far too many years now, legislation has been written in secret by the congressional leadership and presented to the members for up or down votes without adequate time to read and research bills that often have thousands of pages written in legalese that even few members can decipher.
It’s done this way so the “leadership” can stuff the legislation with special favors for lobbyists and provisions that no one will learn about until it’s already law and there’s no opportunity for average Americans to express their opinion.
Case in point.

“A piece of legislation that was quietly included in the infrastructure bill signed by Biden would give the U.S. government access to a ‘kill switch’ linked to law enforcement in all new vehicles from 2026.
“Under a section in the bill that talks about ‘impaired driving technology,’ the new system would ‘passively monitor the performance of a motor vehicle to accurately identify whether that driver may be impaired.’
“If a blood alcohol level above the limit is detected, the system would ‘prevent or limit motor vehicle operation.’
“In other words, a kill switch.” [emphasis added]
