(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a brand-new sign of his deteriorating mental capacity, Joe Biden became so disoriented during a Veterans Day memorial ceremony that he had to ask for help from a US military officer.

During a Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, the president needed guidance from a military member at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier’s wreath-laying ceremony.

Biden sought assistance from an honor guard member for positioning a large wreath on a stand at the memorial in an episode caught on video, The New York Post reports.

After stepping back from the wreath and pausing momentarily, he made the sign of the cross.

The president then moved away from the wreath, turned, took several steps, and then returned towards the officer.

Repeating this action, he was eventually directed by the military member, who gestured towards Vice President Kamala Harris, prompting Biden to rejoin her.

During this moment, Harris and Denis McDonough, the Secretary for Veterans Affairs, appeared to contain their amusement barely, The Post writes.

“God help us. We have a president that doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going,” commented New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew.

“Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, it does,” Rep. Darrell Issa of California remarked.

“It’s sad to see President Biden’s cognitive impairment over and over again. How is he running for reelection?” said Staten Island’s Rep. Nicole Malliotakis.

At a Claremont, New Hampshire rally, former President Donald Trump mocked Biden’s directional challenges.

“We have a guy in the White House who can’t put two sentences together, who couldn’t find his way off this stage,” Trump said, eliciting laughter from the audience.

“And this is the guy we have negotiating with Putin and with President Xi of China,” the 2024 Republican nomination frontrunner added.

Following the ceremony, Biden, in a 14-minute speech, honored his late son Beau’s military service.

“On this day, I can see my son, standing ramrod straight as I pinned his bars on him the day that he joined the Army National Guard in Delaware,” he recalled.

The president also stumbled discussing LGBTQ+ policies in the military

“We have doubled down on our efforts to ensure … that no veteran is denied the honor they earn because there was discharged for being LBTQ plus,” he stated.
