BREAKING: Biden Hands Top White House Job To Former COVID Czar?!?

( – BREAKING NOW: A short while ago, President Joe Biden announced that he is appointing former Covid czar Jeff Zients as his new White House Chief of Staff. Zients is a corporate executive estimated to be worth $150 million.

Specifically, Biden has appointed Jeff Zients as the new White House chief of staff, replacing Ron Klain.

Zients, a former healthcare executive, is a veteran of the Obama-Biden administration and led the White House COVID-19 task force from January 2021 to April 2022.

In a statement announcing the appointment, Biden praised Zients, saying, “When I ran for office, I promised to make government work for the American people. That’s what Jeff does. A big task ahead is now implementing the laws we’ve gotten passed efficiently and fairly.”

Zients has held various roles in the federal government, including working in the Office of Management and Budget and serving as an assistant to the president for economic policy and director of the National Economic Council under the Obama administration.

After leaving the Obama administration, he held a seat on Facebook’s board of directors for two years before returning to the federal government under President Biden to lead the White House COVID-19 Response Team.

The White House will host an official transition event next week to thank Klain for his service and welcome Zients into his new role.
