Breaking: Florida Cop Shot at 8 Times; Manhunt Underway

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Happening Now: As if American patriots needed yet another reminder of how dangerous the streets of the United States of America are for our courageous men and women in professional law enforcement, and why true American patriots Back the Blue, a Deputy Sheriff in Florida was fired on eight times yesterday while performing a traffic stop.

Currently, a manhunt is underway for the thug who opened fire on the deputy in an attempt to kill him and add him to the total number of police officers killed this year. A total that looks to be, tragically, a new record.

Here’s what we know about this recent ambush and the ensuing search.

A Hillsborough County, Florida  Deputy Sheriff, Geovanny Rodriguez, was shot at during a traffic stop at approximately 5 a.m. on Halloween morning.

The thug who opened fire on Deputy Rodriguez fired at least eight shots at him, several of which hit the deputy’s patrol car. You can see some of the bullet hole damage to the vehicle’s windshield in the photograph further down this page.

Thankfully, Deputy Rodriguez was not struck, and he was able to return fire at the thug.

A manhunt is underway, and multiple law enforcement agencies are hunting for a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee that the suspect is believed to have stolen.

According to Chief Deputy Donna Luczynski, “This type of violence towards our deputies will not be tolerated in our community. We are asking anyone with any information to please come forward.”

Hopefully, the thug is apprehended soon.
