BREAKING: New COVID Report Proves Many Americans Right

( – BREAKING NOW: A just disclosed update to a 2021 document by the Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines’ office included a classified intelligence report from the U.S. Energy Department, which states that the Covid-19 pandemic most likely originated from a laboratory leak.

The Energy Department, which oversees a network of U.S. national laboratories, made this judgment with “low confidence.” This marks a change from 2021 when the department was undecided on the origin of the virus.

White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan responded to the report by saying President Biden directed the intelligence community to investigate the pandemic’s origins and share any information with the American people and Congress.

However, he emphasized that the intelligence community has no definitive answer yet.

A previously declassified intelligence report from November 2021 revealed that the FBI concluded with “moderate confidence” that the pandemic began with a laboratory accident, a view that the FBI still holds.

While many officials previously dismissed the lab-leak theory, some scientists and officials now believe that the outbreak at a seafood market in Wuhan, China, was an example of community spread and not the origin of Covid-19.

A team of experts from ten countries, on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO), released a report in March 2021 saying that the virus was likely spread from an animal to humans and that the theory of a lab accident was “extremely unlikely.”

However, Peter Ben Embarek, the WHO food safety and animal diseases expert who led the organization’s investigation, later said in a Danish documentary that Chinese colleagues influenced the presentation of the team’s findings.

The Wall Street Journal report comes one month after House Republicans formed a Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic to investigate the origins of Covid-19 and other aspects of the pandemic.

Several virology labs are located in Wuhan, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where bat coronaviruses were studied. The Energy Department and the FBI believe that an unintended lab leak was likely the cause of the pandemic, but both agencies made their assessments for different reasons.

In conclusion, while the origin of the Covid-19 pandemic remains a subject of an ongoing investigation, the latest intelligence report from the U.S. Energy Department states that it most likely originated from a laboratory leak.
