(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – According to a new report, a final batch of court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and convicted sex offender, and his associates could soon be released to the public.
The records are expected to include the names of hundreds of individuals accused of “serious wrongdoings” as well as Epstein’s victims and employees.
The documents will also name at least one “public figure.”
This release comes after thousands of court documents were unsealed in 2019, revealing Epstein’s involvement in trafficking then-teenager Virginia Giuffre to several high-profile individuals, including a US senator, a former governor of New Mexico, a hedge fund manager, and a long-time professor at MIT.
The current release is because the 167 John or Jane Does named in the documents did not object to their names being made public.
Among those named in the documents are Prince Andrew and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, who have both been publicly accused of sexual abuse by Giuffre.
Additionally, the documents will likely include dozens of individuals listed as associates of Epstein or former girlfriend Ghislane Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence for her role in Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme. However, Maxwell’s lawyers have reportedly pushed back on releasing several of these individuals’ identities, claiming there is no evidence to support they were more than friends.
One of the individuals mentioned in the documents is described as a “public figure” due to their inclusion in Epstein’s “Black Book,” which contained phone numbers of more than 1,000 celebrities, politicians, and business executives. Another person is an assistant state attorney involved in a 2007 case against Epstein for soliciting a minor for prostitution. Despite the charges, Epstein only served 15 months as part of a plea deal with state prosecutors in Florida.
The release of these court documents, four years after Epstein’s death, will likely bring new revelations and shed light on the extent of Epstein’s network of associates and the allegations against them. It will also provide a sense of closure for Giuffre, who has been pushing for the documents to be made public for the last four years. [emphasis added]
