DeSantis Takes Strong Action Against Florida Hotel For THIS!

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis has moved to revoke the liquor license of a big hotel in Miami that hosted a drag queen show with children present.

The Hyatt Regency Miami hosted the Christmas-themed drag show in December 2022, which had children in the audience, even though it had been warned.

A statement from Gov. Ron DeSantis’s office revealed the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (FDBPR) had warned the Hyatt Regency Miami against hosting a “sexually explicit show with children present.”

However, the high-profile luxury hotel went ahead with the transgender performance anyway.

“Therefore, the Department is revoking the venue’s license for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages,” the governor’s statement says, as cited by Fox News.

“Sexually explicit content is not appropriate to display to children and doing so violates Florida law. Governor DeSantis stands up for the innocence of children in the classroom and throughout Florida,” it adds further.

A complaint filed against the Hyatt Regency Miami by the FDBPR said the drag show featured performers who “showed their prosthetic breasts and genitals, rubbed their prosthetic female breasts on the faces and mouths of audience members, intentionally exposed their rears, were ‘simulating masturbation’ and had ‘graphic depictions of childbirth and/or abortion.’”

The complaint also made it clear that the show called “A Drag Queen Christmas” had initially been promoted by the hotel as a Christmas event without any warnings of its sexually explicit content. Its promotional materials stated, “All ages welcome.”

The FDBPR noted further that after being warned, the hotel updated the materials to “recommended for audiences 18+.” However, the event still allowed minors if an adult accompanied them.

“As a result, minors attended and were knowingly admitted. During the show and in the presence of persons less than 16 years of age, performers appeared on stage wearing sexually suggestive clothing and prosthetic female genitalia,” the department wrote in the complaint.

At the same time, screens behind the performers played videos of “exposed female breasts with less than a fully opaque covering, portrayals of simulated masturbation, and other sexually explicit content.”

The “Christmas” drag show also featured “perverted versions of popular children’s Christmas songs,” the complaint reveals.

Those included an adaption of “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth,” and the song contained a “portrayal of oral fellatio” and the lyric “I’ll sit on his lap, he can put his milk and cookies all between my gap.”

The remixed song “Screwdolph the Red-Nippled Reindeer” contained the lyrics, “You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen Vomit and Stupid and Dildo and D***s-in…” and “then one soggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say ‘Screwdolph with your nipples so bright won’t you guide my sleigh tonight.”

“Exposing genitals in a lewd or lascivious manner and simulated sexual activity are inconsistent with the prevailing standards in the adult community as a whole with respect to what is suitable material for children under the age of 16,” the complaint states, adding the hotel violated Florida statue.

Promotional materials quoted in the complaint show that the venue has hosted the event for seven years. In addition, the drag queen show was on a national tour and was also performed in Orlando, Florida.
