Did This Man Bribe Biden?

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – The foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe Biden and his son Hunter, Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, used them as leverage after the pro-Russian regime he was part of was toppled, a report indicates.

An FBI informant document, which was finally accessed by Republican US lawmakers recently, has revealed allegations that 57-year-old Zlochevsky, a key member of the cabinet of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, a Putin ally, paid Joe and Hunter Biden $5 million each.

The Ukrainian authorities have wanted Zlochevsky on embezzlement charges, and he has been in exile since 2019.

Reports claim he is hiding in Monaco after “buying” a Cypriot passport in 2017, Breitbart News informs, quoting The Guardian and Al Jazeera.

As a post-Soviet “oligarch,” i.e., a “businessman” who got rich on political connections, Zlochevky was Ukraine’s Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources from 2010-2012 and deputy National Security and Defense Council chief from 2012-2014.

He was close with President Viktor Yanukovych, often described as a puppet of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Yanukovych fled Ukraine to Russia after anti-corruption protests toppled him in February 2014. His ouster prompted Putin’s first invasion of Ukraine in March 2014.

In May 2014, Zlochevsky appointed Hunter Biden on the board of his energy company Burisma Holdings, with a $1 million annual salary.

In 2016, Zlochevsky and Burisma were investigated by Ukrainian prosecutor Victor Shokin for corruption and money laundering.

However, Shokin was fired under pressure by then-US Vice President Joe Biden, who threatened to scrap $1 billion in US aid for Ukraine. Biden publicly bragged about that during a 2018 event.

Zlochevsky fled Ukraine in 2019, the same year Hunter Biden’s five-year term on Burisma’s board expired. Hunter Biden’s business partner Devon Archer was also on the board, having joined several weeks before him.

“The 2014 protests in Kyiv came to be known as the Revolution of Dignity — a revolution against corruption in Ukraine. Following that revolution, Ukrainian political figures were desperate for US support,” reads a 2020 US Senate report by GOP Senator Chuck Grassley.

“Zlochevsky would have made sure relevant Ukrainian officials were well aware of Hunter’s appointment to Burisma’s board as leverage,” it added.

The FBI document claims Zlochevsky made recordings of his secret bribery talks with the Bidens.
