DOJ Acts to Protect Patriots – Creates 2A Task Force!

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is finally standing up for patriotic gun owners with a powerful new Second Amendment Task Force.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced that the DOJ will roll back Biden-era restrictions that unfairly targeted law-abiding gun owners and dealers.

This marks a decisive shift away from treating the Second Amendment as a “second-class right.”

For millions of patriotic Americans who watched their gun rights erode under the Biden administration, justice is finally being served.

Chaired by Bondi herself, the newly established task force will develop policies and legal strategies to uphold and strengthen Second Amendment protections.

“For too long, the Second Amendment, which establishes the fundamental individual right of Americans to keep and bear arms, has been treated as a second-class right. No more,” declared Bondi.

The task force represents a complete reversal from the previous administration’s hostile approach to gun owners.

It includes members from various DOJ offices and agencies, including the ATF and FBI, ensuring a thorough approach to protecting Americans’ right to keep and bear arms.

President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14206 directed this review of Joe Biden’s firearms regulations that had placed unnecessary burdens on gun owners and sellers.

One of the first actions already taken is the repeal of Biden’s “zero tolerance” policy for gun dealers.

This heavy-handed approach allowed the ATF to revoke licenses for even minor paperwork violations, threatening small businesses and gun availability across America.

“The prior administration’s ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy unfairly targeted law-abiding gun owners and created an undue burden on Americans seeking to exercise their constitutional right to bear arms—it ends today,” Bondi stated.

The task force will also review and revise other controversial Biden-era rules. These include:

  • The “stabilizing brace rule,” which reclassified millions of pistols with braces as illegal short-barreled rifles overnight.
  • The expanded definition of who is “engaged in the business” of selling firearms, which threatened to criminalize private gun sales between law-abiding citizens.

FBI Director Kash Patel made it clear the agency is abandoning its previous adversarial stance toward gun owners.

He said: “Today’s repeal of the Zero Tolerance Policy and the comprehensive review of stabilizing brace regulations and the definition of ‘engaged in the business’ marks a pivotal step toward restoring fairness and clarity in firearms regulation.”

Unlike the previous administration’s secretive approach, the DOJ will actively collaborate with gun rights organizations, manufacturers, and legal experts to ensure that its policies align with constitutional rights.

Gun rights groups have applauded these changes, while anti-gun organizations are outraged that their agenda of disarming law-abiding Americans is being reversed.

For gun owners who have felt under siege for years, the Second Amendment Task Force is a powerful statement that the federal government is finally on their side.

With Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, the days of treating the right to bear arms as less important than other constitutional rights are finally over.
