In a timely intervention by Elon Musk, the billionaire has come to the defense of Melania Trump, after radical Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters suggested that the first lady should be deported.

“At some point, the many crimes of Maxine Waters will catch up to her,” Musk wrote on X.

Waters has once again resorted to extreme rhetoric, this time targeting First Lady Melania Trump with a call for her deportation.

In an effort to oppose Donald Trump’s immigration policies, Waters seems to have taken a wrong turn by focusing on the immigration history of Melania, potentially sparking high-octane political drama.

Maxine Waters expressed her controversial opinion during a Los Angeles rally where she criticized Donald Trump’s mass deportation rhetoric and proposed cuts to federal programs.

Waters argued that if Trump is serious about scrutinizing undocumented immigrants, he should start by examining Melania’s immigration history.

Calling out Elon Musk, Trump’s advisor heading the Department of Government Efficiency, Waters questioned the documentation status of Melania’s parents, suggesting Melania’s citizenship undergo a review.

Born in Slovenia, Melania Trump became a U.S. citizen in 2006 after marrying Donald Trump.

She is the first First Lady to be a naturalized U.S. citizen and sponsored her parents for their citizenship in 2018.

Waters’ assertions don’t seem to take into account the differences between legal immigration and the issues of undocumented migrants, which her comments intend to address.

“We don’t know whether or not her parents were documented. And maybe we better just take a look,” the Democrat said, cited by Reuters.

Waters’ suggestion that Melania Trump should be deported received pushback from figures like Elon Musk, who fired back at Waters by highlighting her public controversies.

He implied that her actions and potential misconduct might soon catch up with her.

Waters has previously criticized Trump’s policies, particularly his executive order proposing to end birthright citizenship, an act many see as an overreach of executive power challenging constitutional norms.

In her latest outburst, Waters attempts to deflect the conversation by targeting Melania, a diversion that overlooks the fact that Melania’s immigration journey has been lawful and transparent.

As the political tensions continue to rise, Waters’ remarks about Melania Trump seem to have garnered more criticism than support.

Her focus on Melania distracts from the current administration’s efforts to address illegal immigration, a concern that has always resonated with conservatives who seek to maintain the country’s immigration laws and protect American jobs for American citizens.
