(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a highly righteous critique of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Greg Page, whose son Daegan Page was a Marine who died during the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan, has revealed that no one from the Biden-Harris administration has contacted his family in the three years since the incident.
Speaking on “National Report,” Page articulated his disappointment with the lack of communication from the White House and expressed his hope that Vice President Kamala Harris would face rigorous questioning about the operation during her first interview as the Democrat presidential nominee that evening.
“We’ve had some briefings from the military side, where they’ve done some updates and they continue to investigate and find things out, [but] from the administration, we’ve not heard anything,” Page explained.
He further emphasized the general sentiment among families similarly affected, highlighting their desire for an acknowledgment of the missteps during the operation, Newsmax reports.
“Which is, as you’ve heard from some of the other families, frustrating, for sure. We would love to at least have some acknowledgment of where things went wrong, some decisions that were made that shouldn’t have been made, but, no, we have not heard from the administration,” the Gold Star father added.
In response to President Joe Biden’s characterization of the withdrawal as a “success” three years prior, Page vehemently disagreed: “It was absolutely not a success.”
He criticized the administration’s portrayal of the withdrawal, contrasting it starkly with the reality of the situation.
“It was absolutely chaos,” he asserted.
Despite the adverse conditions, he acknowledged the commendable performance of the military personnel involved.
“The one thing that he did get right was the military did an outstanding job. They were thrown into chaos. They made a great situation out of it in regards to being able to get out as many people as they did and control the things that they were able to control, but they were certainly outmanned and outgunned in that scenario,” Page elaborated.
As Harris prepares for her interview with CNN, Page mentioned several critical questions he hopes will be addressed.
“I would really like to know her take on the comments we mentioned earlier of does she view that as a success?” he pondered.
He also questioned Harris’s accountability in the decisions made during the withdrawal.
“You know, she claims to be the last person in the room when those decisions were being made. Did she take any responsibility for what happened there?” Page asked.
