(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – With the new year in sight, it’s always good to finish the old year with uplifting news. And any news about a potential crime victim defending themself and turning the table of a group of criminal thugs utilizing a concealed handgun is uplifting news in our opinion here at The Last Patriot News.
Today, we have just such a report.
As USACarry.com reported yesterday in “Concealed Carrier Fends Off Group of Robbers; 16-Year-Old Suspect Dead“:
“A group of robbers didn’t fare so well when they decided to rob a concealed carrier in Tampa yesterday.
“A 32-year-old man was in a park in Tampa when around 4 PM, a group of individuals tried to rob him. Unbeknownst to them, he had a Florida Concealed Handgun License and his gun, which he drew and fired at the suspects. There are no reports on how many shots were fired.
“At least one suspect was hit and died on the scene. The victim and remaining suspects fled the scene before the police arrived. It is ok to leave the scene of a self-defense shooting if you are still in fear of your life. The police found the victim at another location and brought him to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries.” [emphasis added
In case someone misunderstands, we never celebrate the death of any individual – and no true American Patriot should. However, we do honor the fact that an individual who was smart enough to be prepared to defend himself did so successfully. And, if a criminal thug intent on robbing and harming him is killed in the course of defending his life and property, well, that was the risk the robber took and paid the ultimate penalty.
What do you think? Please share your opinion by emailing [email protected] and telling us whether you are glad the potential robbery victim was able to successfully defend himself using a concealed handgun that he was lawfully carrying. Thank you, and have a good day.
