(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a staggering disclosure, a former high-ranking US Border Patrol official has revealed that the Biden-Harris administration deliberately tried to hide from the nation the true scope of the illegal immigrant invasion.
Former San Diego Sector Chief Agent Aaron Heitke told the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday that the administration consistently attempted to suppress information about the border crisis by limiting media access and obscuring the details of dangerous migrants entering the country.
“I had to release illegal aliens by the hundreds each day into communities who could not support them,” Heitke testified, cited by The New York Post.
He shared that during his tenure, the White House facilitated two weekly flights from San Diego to Texas to lessen the visibility of migrants in his sector.
“These flights simply brought aliens that would have been released in San Diego over to Texas,” he said, noting that each flight cost about $150,000 and was part of an effort to downplay the extent of the crisis at the border.
In further testimony, Heitke stated that he was directed to relocate over 2,000 migrants caught between the two border fences in Southern California away from the media’s eyes.
He also mentioned restrictions on discussing the sharp increase in border crossings by “Special Interest Aliens” (SIAs), individuals from certain countries or with potential terror ties that pose national security concerns.
“Before Biden and Harris took office, the San Diego sector averaged 10 to 15 SIA arrests per year. That number increased to over 100 SIAs in 2022, even more in 2023, and continues to rise,” Heitke recalled.
“These are only the ones we caught,” he added, highlighting that more than 1.7 million migrants with unknown terror affiliations, referred to as “gotaways,” have entered the US undetected.
“At the time, I was told I could not release any information on this increase on SIAs or mention any of the arrests. The administration was trying to convince the public there was no threat at the border,” he noted.
This testimony follows revelations from another former border enforcement official who claimed in a committee interview that the current administration had “intentionally” relaxed border controls.
“I assert that Secretary Mayorkas and his subordinate political appointees have and continue to intentionally conspire to undermine the security of the American people, as well as the letter and the intent of congressionally enacted US law,” former Border Patrol chief Rodney Scott stated during the January interview.
