Hunter Biden Hit With New Allegations of Criminality

Joe and Hunter Biden

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – A potential new scandal is brewing around President Joe Biden’s son Hunter amid allegations his Chinese investment firm partnered with a military company owned by Communist China while his father was the vice president of the United States.

Hunter Biden was and still seems to be a board member and the owner of a 10% stake in BHR Partners, a China-based investment firm, which in September 2015 collaborated with a Chinese regime-owned firm to buy an American company, The Washington Examiner reported, as cited by Newsmax.

More specifically, BHR Partners cooperated with AVIC Automotive, a subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a Chinese government-owned entity that might be the world’s largest defense company.

BHR Partners and AVIC worked together to purchase Michigan firm Henniges, the report reveals.

It notes that before Hunter Biden joined the BHR board – during Joe Biden’s vice-presidential tenure in 2009-2017, the U.S. government had sanctioned several AVIC subsidiaries.

Those include CATIC – or China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation, which has been deemed a threat to U.S. national security since 1990.

Back then, President George H.W. Bush warned CATIC “might take action that threatens to impair the national security of the United States of America.”

Moreover, around the time of Hunter Biden’s involvement with AVIC, it supported the Chinese regime’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA), including by helping build fighter jets for China’s air force.

The report points out that business records from China’s National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System still list Hunter Biden’s firm Skaneateles as a 10% owner in BHR Partners.

“U.S. business records continue to list Hunter Biden as the only beneficial owner of Skaneateles,” it adds.

In the late 1990s, a U.S. House select committee on China issued a warning about AVIC and CATIC, while in 1996, the Government Accountability Office found a scheme by CATIC to convince American firm McDonnell Douglas to “co-produce 40 MD-80 and MD-90 aircraft in China for the country’s domestic ‘trunk’ routes.”

In 1999, the Justice Department charged CATIC with violating the Export Administration Act and the International Emergency Economic Powers Act “regarding details of a 1994 sale of American machining equipment, some of which was diverted to a Chinese military site.”

Chinese state-run TAL Industries, itself a CATIC subsidiary, “pleaded guilty to a felony charge in 2001 for violating the U.S. export laws,” The New York Times reported at the time.

“CATIC had been sanctioned under the Arms Export Control Act in 1999 and was sanctioned in 2004, 2005, and 2006 for violations of the Iran Nonproliferation Act,” the Examiner emphasized.

“The [U.S.] government has long been aware of the national security concerns posed by AVIC and its subsidiaries. We’ve known since at least the early ’90s that this organization is controlled by the Chinese communist regime and is not friendly to America’s security interests,” Republican U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa said.

“This transaction [involving Hunter Biden] should have triggered serious alarm bells at the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. And any upstanding American businessperson who does any due diligence would know that partnering with AVIC is choosing money over country,” the GOP senator elaborated.

Nonetheless, in 2015, Hunter Biden’s BHR declared it was “delighted to announce” the purchase of Henniges in a “$600 million acquisition” for AVIC and BHR, “the biggest Chinese investment into U.S. automotive manufacturing assets to date.”
