(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – It had been quite some time since an international terrorism event took place on American soil.
But, with the weak presidential administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris now in charge of protecting Americans, pundits believed it was only a matter of time before international terrorism returned to the United States of America.
And, it happened.
As most know, less than two weeks ago, four people, including a rabbi, were taken hostage by an Islamic terrorist at Congregation Beth Israel, a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, not far from Dallas.
Fortunately, all hostages escaped, and the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team killed the terrorist.
Most don’t know that the terrorist was demanding the release of another Islamic terrorist, Aafia Siddiqui, who is imprisoned not far from the synagogue. Aafia Siddiqui, also known as “Lady al-Qaeda,” was convicted in 2010 of attempting to kill U.S. military officers in Afghanistan, and she is serving an 86-year prison sentence.
And here’s the kicker.
Reportedly, U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, a Minnesota Democrat and a member of the infamous “Squad,” is one of many Islamists who want the release of Aafia Siddiqui.
In fact, as recently as last November, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which describes itself as the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, held a press conference on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., to call for the release of Siddiqui. That was followed by “Free Dr. Aafia Washington D.C. Advocacy Day,” described as “the first in a series of congressional advocacy days to let members of Congress know that their constituents demand the immediate release of Dr. Aafia to her home nation of Pakistan.”
And, according to BaltimoreJewishLife.com, Ilhan Omar – along with fellow Squad member U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib – is deeply connected with CAIR which, just one month after the event calling for the freeing of “Lady al-Qaeda,” honored Congresswoman Omar as the “American Muslim Public Servant of 2021.”
