It’s Official: Biden Most Unpopular President in Recent History

Joe Biden

( – It is official. No American president in the modern history of the presidency in the United States of America has fallen so far, so fast, as has Joe Biden.

And it all has to do with his popularity. Or, more to the point, how his “approval” rating has become a story of “disapproval.”

In fact, a review of all reputable polls shows that Joe Biden is currently more unpopular — has a higher disapproval rating — with the American electorate than every previous president going all the way back to President Harry S. Truman in 1945 as the Second World War came to an end seventy-seven years ago.

As shows in its compilation of approval and disapproval poll ratings for every president from Truman forward, Biden is currently at a 54.4% disapproval rating.

At the same point in their presidencies, here’s what all the others had as disapproval ratings:

  • Donald Trump 52.6%
  • Barack Obama 45.1%
  • George W. Bush 18.7%
  • Bill Clinton 42.2%
  • George H.W. Bush 20.0%
  • Ronald Reagan 44.0%
  • Jimmy Carter 43.0%
  • Gerald Ford 38.9%
  • Richard Nixon 32.0%
  • Lyndon B. Johnson 20.3%
  • John F. Kennedy 15.9%
  • Dwight D. Eisenhower 21.9%
  • Harry S. Truman 45.1%
