Lara Trump FIGHTS Back

LARA TRUMP

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a fair assessment that captures one of the left’s greatest weaknesses in the 2024 presidential race, Republican National Committee (RNC) co-Chair Lara Trump has blasted the Democrats’ excessively criticizing former President Trump at their recent convention instead of highlighting their policy objectives.

Speaking on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Lara Trump delineated the differences in the national conventions hosted by the two predominant political parties.

“We were very proud of the Republican National Convention. I think what people saw with our convention is that you actually saw a path forward for this country. You saw Donald Trump and people every single night of our convention lay out how we are going to make life better for you. I didn’t hear a single night of anybody talk at the [Democratic convention] about that,” said Lara Trump, who is also the former president’s daughter-in-law.

She remarked on the solidarity demonstrated at the Republican convention, noting the overall positive sentiment it fostered.

In contrast, Lara Trump characterized the Democratic National Convention as predominantly anti-Trump.

“It seems like they’re attempting to run on hating Donald Trump, on platitudes, on vibes, and on emotion,” she commented, cited by The Hill.

“That is not going to put food on the table for the people of this country. That is not going to bring down your gas prices. That is not going to get us out of wars around the world,” the RNC co-chair declared.

“Donald Trump had a plan. He put it in place in 2016 when he won that election. He has done this job before, and we demonstrated at our convention how he would do it again. You haven’t heard a single thing from the Democrats on the other side,” she added.

Her observations reiterate sentiments that former President Trump himself expressed, noting the Democrats’ focus on him during their convention, including remarks from former President Obama.

The enthusiasm from the Democrats’ four-day event in Chicago has been likened to the fervor surrounding Obama’s pivotal 2008 presidential campaign.

This surge in Democratic momentum is a sharp contrast to the Republicans’ edge at the time of their convention, which came shortly after a challenging debate performance by President Biden and an assassination attempt on Trump.

Following these events, Vice President Harris has seen an improvement in her polling numbers.

According to The Hill and Decision Desk HQ, Harris currently leads by 3.6 percentage points, garnering 49.5 percent support compared to Trump’s 45.9 percent.
