Lindsey Graham Wanted January 6th Protesters Shot

( – There can be no doubt that voters and supporters of former President Donald J. Trump have long had their doubts about United States Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

To say that Graham waits to see what direction the political wind is blowing before deciding on his course of action would be a gross understatement. After all, for almost his entire time in the United States Senate, Graham was viewed as Senator John McCain’s toady.

Who can forget that when Trump was first running for the GOP presidential nomination – as was Graham at the outset – Graham said that a Trump presidential nomination “would be an utter, complete and total disaster. If you’re a xenophobic, race-baiting, religious bigot, you’re going to have a hard time being president of the United States, and you’re going to do irreparable damage to the party.”

Then, when GOP voters rejected Graham as a presidential candidate and McCain passed away – and it became clear to anyone with two eyes that Donald Trump was the most powerful individual within the Republican Party – Graham started all but licking Trump’s shoes to get in his good graces.

Now Americans learn today that during the January 6th protest at the United States Capitol in Washington, DC, Graham became so frightened that he called on the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms and other law enforcement agents to open fire on Trump’s supporters who were in the Capitol.

As first reported today by The Washington Post and republished by the conservative Daily Caller, Graham screamed at the sergeant-at-arms, “What are you doing? Take back the Senate! You’ve got guns. Use them.”

There can be no other interpretation of Graham’s intent. He wanted Americans gunned down in the halls of the United States Capitol on January 6th.
