(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – During prime time television hours on Thursday evening, the United States House of Representatives Select Committee investigating events surrounding the January 6, 2021, protest at the United States Capitol Complex in Washington, DC, will attempt to convince the American public that there was a grand conspiracy involving multiple players and illegal acts to stop Joe Biden from becoming President of the United States.
One of the committee members presenting the case will be United States Representative Liz Cheney, a Wyoming Republican, who was handpicked by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to be on the Committee.
According to Cheney in an interview on Sunday, the Committee has found evidence of an “extremely broad” and “well-organized” conspiracy.
As Breitbart News reports about the interview, “Reporter Robert Costa asked, ‘Are you confident that what you have found as a committee will somehow grab the American people by the lapels and say, ‘Wake up: You have to pay attention’?’
Cheney replied:
“I am. The threat, and it’s an ongoing threat, you know, we are not in a situation where former President Trump has expressed any sense of remorse about what happened. We are, in fact, in a situation where he continues to use even more extreme language, frankly, than the language that caused the attack. And so, people must pay attention. People must watch, and they must understand how easily our democratic system can unravel if we don’t defend it.”
Speaking of the conspiracy Cheney believes the Committee has uncovered, Cheney said, “It is extremely broad. It’s extremely well-organized. It’s really chilling.”
