(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Remember that wild story about a group of four men who were supposedly planning and training to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer?
How could anyone forget, right?
The alleged conspiracy and indictments came across like a really bad movie plot.
As it turns out, the jury found the entire scenario the government alleged unbelievable and didn’t render a single guilty verdict against the defendants.
Three of the men were outright acquitted, and there was a hung jury on the fourth defendant — the so-called “ringleader.”
This is why we as a nation are blessed to have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights that enshrines the right to a jury trial.
Because the government can and will say and do anything to get an indictment, still, at the end of the day, a jury must be presented with evidence that shows proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
In this case, clearly the jury believed the government did not have the evidence.
