Plot To STOP Trump Revealed

Donald Trump

( – The prospect of Donald Trump winning back the White House in November is scary to the left and Never Trumpers that a coalition comprising various anti-Trump factions is strategizing to counteract measures they anticipate could emerge from a possible second Trump presidency.

A New York Times report cited by Breitbart News highlights that organizations like the progressive Center for American Progress (CAP) and anti-Trump factions such as Principles First are collaborating to forestall potential stringent policies on illegal immigration and abortion, alongside efforts to diminish federal bureaucracy or deploy military forces to reestablish order.

Patrick Gaspard, the CEO of the CAP Action Fund, which is the advocacy wing of the progressive think-tank, conveyed to the Times, “What Trump and his acolytes are running on is an authoritarian playbook. So now we have to democracy-proof our actual institutions and the values that we share.”

In preparation, these groups are engaging in several initiatives, including hosting a conference next month at New York University titled “Autocracy in America – A Warning and Response.”

They are also devising strategies to combat deportation, creating frameworks for volunteers nationwide to document and counteract immigration raids, preparing potential lawsuits, and seeking plaintiffs aligned with their cause.

Democrat governors have established the Reproductive Freedom Alliance to coordinate resistance against any federal measures that could restrict abortion access.

This alliance, initiated by California Governor Gavin Newsom, claims to be nonpartisan; however, it is exclusively composed of Democratic governors.

They are collaboratively planning lawsuits, enacting shield laws to safeguard abortion providers and patients, and have begun amassing stocks of mifepristone, a medication used in abortions.

Additionally, the progressive Brennan Center for Justice has enlisted Barton Gelman, a journalist from The Atlantic—recognized for its critical stance against the Trump administration—to assist with scenario planning and tabletop exercises focused on potential developments during a Trump presidency.

Michael Waldman, President of the Brennan Center, informed the Times about their preparations for scenarios involving either a Trump or Biden victory.

“For Biden, we are preparing for the chance to pass significant legislation strengthening the freedom to vote, and for Trump, we are mapping out how to limit the damage from an epic era of abuse of power,” he said.

In response, Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung sharply criticized these efforts as attempts to undermine the will of the American electorate, should they choose to reelect Trump.

“It’s not surprising Biden and his cronies are working overtime to stymie the will of the American people after they vote to elect President Trump and his America First agenda. Their devious actions are a direct threat to democracy,” Cheung stated.
