PROOF: Biden Has Been a Disaster for American Workers

Joe Biden

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Substantially fewer Americans are employed in the United States today than before President Joe Biden took office two years ago. At the same time, millions of foreign workers have been brought in, according to a report.

Thus, 1.9 million fewer native-born Americans were employed at the end of 2022 compared with 2019, the last year before the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the same time, over the same period, the Biden administration has “funneled” 2 million more foreign-born workers to fill in jobs throughout the United States.

That is according to an analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), an anti-illegal immigration nonprofit based in Washington, DC, as cited by Breitbart News.

The CIS pointed out that the number of native-born Americans of working age in the nation’s workforce has been declining for over two decades.

“There has been a decades-long decline in the labor force participation rate of the U.S.-born of working-age (16 to 64), from 77.3% in 2000 to 73.5% in the fourth quarter of 2022,” the nonprofit reported.

“If the labor force participation rate for the working-age U.S.-born in the fourth quarter of 2022 were what it had been in the fourth quarter of 2000, then 6.4 million more people would be in the labor force,” it elaborated.

The think-tank’s analysis established a decline in labor participation among working-class native-born Americans, which was “especially pronounced.”

The rate dropped to 70.3% at the end of last year compared to 71.4% in 2019, 74.8% in 2006, and 76.4% in 2000.

The labor participation rate of working-class native-born American men between 25 to 54 years old without a bachelor’s degree has also been declining steadily since 2000. At the end of 2022, it stood at 83.7%

The report criticized President Joe Biden and his administration for prioritizing foreign workers while leaving America’s native-born workers “on the sidelines.”

It emphasized that Biden’s Cabinet had been “ignoring efforts” that would allow native-born Americans to go back to the workforce.

The Center for Immigration Studies said Biden was instead enabling millions of foreigners to become part of the American workforce.

The report stressed that the foreigners’ addition to the labor market was putting additional pressure on all Americans trying to find jobs and possibly higher pay, especially those in the working class.
