(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In what must be an excruciating blow to the Democrat Party, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has blasted it for keeping him off the ballot in the 2024 presidential election.

RFK Jr., a former Democrat with an illustrious family history in the party, is openly criticizing current party leadership for their efforts to “disenfranchise” voters, WND points out in a report.
Kennedy, whose father was the assassinated Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and whose uncle was President John F. Kennedy, is running for president as an independent and has expressed his dismay with the party’s direction.
“I shouldn’t be here right now. The DNC is in Chicago talking about their commitment to voting rights. They’re spending tens, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars to keep me off the ballot,” he stated.
“I was raised in the Democratic Party—my father Robert Kennedy and my uncle John Kennedy—at a time when the Democratic party was focused on ensuring that every American could vote. There were people in the country being denied the right to vote. … there’s a million people in this country who have signed petitions trying to get me on the ballot, 145,000 at least here in New York state. They want to see me on the ballot,” Kennedy elaborated.
“Why is the Democratic party trying to disenfranchise those people? I don’t think my father would recognize this party, and I don’t think my uncle would recognize this party,” he questioned.
Critics of the Democratic Party have been harsh, with one noting, “The ‘party of democracy’ removed their candidate via coup, installed a nominee without a single vote, is trying to imprison their main political opponent and keep any other potentially viable alternatives off the ballot. Democracy!”
Another critic argued, “The Democrats are an anti-democratic party. They hate everything this country stands for.”
Meanwhile, reports have indicated that RFK Jr. plans to make a significant campaign announcement on Friday, likely that he is quitting the race and endorsing former President Donald Trump.
According to his campaign press secretary Stefanie Spear, the announcement will address “the present historical moment and his path forward.”
The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern in Phoenix, Arizona, and will be broadcast live on X and other social media platforms.
Donald Trump is set to hold a rally in nearby Glendale, Arizona, later the same day.
