(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a powerful attack against the left, Nicole Shanahan, the former running mate of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has blasted the Democrats by stating that “they’ve lost their soul.”
Shanahan delivered a sharp critique of the Democrat Party during her appearance on Fox News on Tuesday.
In an interview on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Shanahan articulated concerns that the Democratic Party is veering away from its core values of dignity and respect, highlighting a shift in its moral orientation.
This criticism comes at a time of increasing internal discord within the party, especially concerning its treatment of Kennedy, The Daily Caller points out in a report.
Shanahan expressed dismay over the party’s current trajectory.
“This is wild. I’m asking myself what happened to the party of when they go low, we go high. Cause right now they’re just going lower and lower and lower. And I’m shocked. I’m saddened. I’m worried for them, honestly. They’ve lost their soul. They’ve lost their direction. And, you know, if you’re going to pick a target, you got to pick it a little bit better,” she declared.
In her discussion, Shanahan also highlighted Kennedy’s perseverance amidst challenges, especially those posed by major pharmaceutical companies. She praised Kennedy’s character.
“Robert F. Kennedy is one of the kindest human beings I’ve had the pleasure to get to know. He said it the other day, he was like, I don’t have a bone of revenge in my body. This is somebody who’s been attacked over years now from all different angles,” she noted.
“Big Pharma’s come after him harder than just about anybody. And I have to say, Bobby shows up with grace every time,” the former vice-presidential candidate added.
Kennedy himself has acknowledged the significant personal impact of these persistent attacks, yet he remains committed to a path of non-retaliation.
“When I joined this campaign, he said, you’re going to get attacked in ways you would have never expected. But just remember, every attack is a signal from God, show up with kindness,” Shanahan recounted.
Kennedy Jr. has openly criticized the leadership of the Democrat Party after being excluded from the New York election ballot.
Before his campaign was halted, there were efforts within the Democrat Party to disqualify him in various states.
He voiced his frustration to Sean Hannity: “[the] party which says they’re trying to save democracy from Donald Trump, they canceled the primaries and canceled democracy within the party.”
