(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had strong words for Republicans during a mid-day speech on Wednesday, October 27. Not only did he call out the media for playing a role in the spread of misinformation and sensationalized headlines, but he also sent GOP members a dire warning about the future.

The governor first shared his opinion on what he believes would reinvigorate the Republican party before 2024. DeSantis mainly focused on mainstream media lies, many of which increased when Trump started his term back in 2016. He believes that truth-tellers in our current society will continue to be ostracized until someone puts a stop to false narratives brought forth by news outlets.
The life-long Floridian urged the modern Republican party to stand up to deception with courage, even quoting Winston Churchill at one point.
DeSantis also insinuated that his right-wing friends must gain more of a backbone if they want to succeed in the future. At the very least, they cannot fear harsh criticism from Democrats or the far Left. He feels there is no substitute for courage, regardless of whether one is being brave in the face of a dishonest press, cancel culture, or hot-button political topics.
