Should Ben & Jerry’s Be Boycotted for THIS?

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Woke corporate giant Ben & Jerry’s used Independence Day to make an outrageous far-left demand: that the United States “return” the “stolen Indigenous land” that it “was founded on.”

“The United States was founded on stolen Indigenous land. This Fourth of July, let’s commit to returning it,” Ben & Jerry’s wrote in its Fourth of July tweet, a message also posted to its corporate website.

The woke ice cream maker, whose products were previously boycotted by Israel for championing Palestinian causes advanced through terrorist attacks, insisted that the July 4 celebrations were a “distraction.”

It argued that they “distract from an essential truth about this nation’s birth,” Newsmax reports.

“Start with Mount Rushmore. That is the meaning of Independence Day for those whose land this country stole, those who were murdered and forced with brutal violence onto reservations, those who were pushed from their holy places and denied their freedom,” Ben & Jerry’s anti-American rant continued.

“The faces on Mount Rushmore are the faces of men who actively worked to destroy Indigenous cultures and ways of life, to deny Indigenous people their basic rights,” added the company headquartered in Burlington, Vermont.

“What is the meaning of Independence Day for those whose land this country stole, those who were murdered and forced with brutal violence onto reservations, those who were pushed from their holy places and denied their freedom?” the ice cream giant asked its nearly 500,000 followers, as quoted by Breitbart News.

The New York Post reports that Ben & Jerry’s anti-American comments caused a swift backlash, harsh criticism, and boycott calls on social media.

Many have compared the ice cream maker’s July 4 statement to Bud Light’s promotion of transgenderism by signing up as a promoter of transgender individual Dylan Mulvaney.

“Make @benandjerrys Bud Light again,” tweeted country singer John Rich.

“Just when you think @benandjerrys couldn’t go any lower—they pull this stunt. Boycott Ben and Jerry’s,” wrote another Twitter user.

“Seriously now, close shop—or better yet, donate your business and everything you own in these lands that rightfully belong to the Indigenous people—apologize to them, and return to the continent your ancestors came from. Now,” proposed another challenger to company founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield.
