(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In a spontaneous outpour of patriotism by young people fighting a new instance of anti-American insanity, approximately 100 vehicles have convened outside Edmond North High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, in a protest against a ban on displaying the American flag.

The rally targeted a controversial flag regulation enforced by Edmond Public Schools (EPS), which, according to Fox 25, has been the subject of significant dissent.
An image from the event showed a truck belonging to a young man who had previously mounted the American flag on his vehicle, Breitbart News reports.
The prohibition against displaying flags on campus aims to reduce distractions and enhance safety, stated an EPS spokesperson.
Footage from the scene displayed a procession of vehicles, each prominently flying large American flags.
Caleb Horst, a senior at the high school, relayed that he was informed last Wednesday that flying the American flag on his truck was no longer permissible.
“I’ve never really had a problem with it before and it’s our First Amendment, so it’s kind of hard for them to infringe upon our rights, you know?” he expressed to the media outlet.
“In the end, we’re all American, we’re all united under that flag so there’s not much anybody can do to separate us,” Horst remarked further.
In a video released Monday, Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters vehemently criticized the policy, asserting, “No school in Oklahoma should tell students they can’t wave an American flag.”
“We’ve had Americans die for that flag, die for students to have the right to carry the flag, to wave the flag, to be proud of that American flag. My department right now is working on guidelines that we will be issuing to districts to ensure that no student is ever targeted for having an American flag,” he declared.
“And also that our schools will promote patriotism. We want our young people to be patriotic, we want them to love this country. And we’re going to continue to support our young people to have the greatest understanding of American history and the country and to be proud of our country,” Walters added.
In a subsequent post on Thursday, Walters criticized EPS further, alleging, “EPS has a history of prioritizing woke agendas over our history and our freedoms. We will investigate and I will act.”
The rally was organized by a Facebook group which stated that the purpose of the event was to underscore patriotism and the significance of the American flag.
