(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Lefties have just received new evidence that Islamist terrorists are eager to target anyone in the West, as the authorities have just foiled a terror plot by ISIS to attack a Taylor Swift concert in Austria’s capital, Vienna.

Three Taylor Swift concerts planned as part of her European Eras tour were canceled after authorities intercepted a plot by ISIS targeting her shows in Vienna, The New York Post reports.
The promoter, Barracuda, disclosed the cancellation of the sold-out performances scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday due to these security concerns.
“With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,” stated the promoter on Instagram.
Early Wednesday, a 19-year-old residing with his parents in Ternitz, south of Vienna, was arrested in a police raid.
A second individual was detained later that day. During the raid, law enforcement discovered various materials likely intended for bomb-making, leading to an evacuation of the premises.
The suspects were reportedly targeting Swift’s appearances at Ernst Happel Stadium.
“The suspects were focused on the Taylor Swift concerts. We discovered that he was taking action to prepare for the attack,” Austrian Director General for Public Safety Franz Ruf remarked.
“A clear threat has been averted,” he continued, noting that the situation was still under investigation for potential accomplices.
The main suspect, an Austrian citizen, is reported to have declared his allegiance to ISIS in July and, along with the second suspect, is suspected of having been radicalized online.
Both were under surveillance by Austrian authorities and recognized as potential threats prior to their arrest, as US officials told NBC News.
Although the young man had procured some components for constructing an explosive device, he was not yet in possession of all necessary parts.
Authorities emphasized the urgency of the arrests, suggesting the suspects might find alternative methods to execute an attack. Security measures at the concert venues have since been heightened.
This incident was not an isolated occurrence of Islamic extremists targeting pop concerts.
In 2017, a bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester executed by Salman Abedi resulted in 22 deaths and significant injuries and psychological trauma among nearly a thousand people.
Abedi’s brother later confessed to participating in the planning of the attack and received a 55-year prison sentence.
More recently, a masked assailant attacked attendees at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England, leading to three fatalities and multiple injuries.
