(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Seemingly sabotaging the future administration in his last days in office, Joe Biden has invited the wrath of Donald Trump, as the latter has fiercely criticized the outgoing president for auctioning surplus border wall materials, describing the decision as “almost criminal.”
See the social media posts below!
The Biden administration is reportedly selling unused materials, with some slabs already seen being removed in Arizona.
Materials are being auctioned for as low as $5, sparking outrage over this apparent financial waste.
Trump claims this undermines his administration’s objective to secure the US-Mexico border, warning of skyrocketing costs if the wall must be rebuilt.
President Trump emphasized the issue with his characteristic frankness.
“The administration is trying to sell it for five cents on the dollar,” he stated, arguing the financial irresponsibility near the southern border is indeed an “almost criminal act.”
Meanwhile, the Biden administration has been silent on this matter, drawing criticism from Congressional Republicans.
Trump’s remarks reflect his continuous push for more secure borders, a pivotal tenet of his presidency.
His proposed solution involves stopping this financial madness and refocusing efforts on genuine border safety and control.
The National Defense Authorization Act’s Section 2890 calls for better management of unused border wall materials by the Defense Department.
However, half of these materials have been sold via GovPlanet, while the rest remain stored.
This storage, often costly for maintenance, served as justification to offload the materials.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick of Texas dismissed claims—hinting the materials are largely unusable junk. Skeptics view these sales more symbolically as a slap in patriots’ faces rather than any actionable economic discretion.
Internal discussions on legal interventions have surfaced, although official White House comments remain absent.
“It’s almost a criminal act,” Trump declared, cited by The El Paso Times.
Biden’s auction unfolding portends challenges ahead, not only financially but to the core of border policy.
Glad to have @realDonaldTrump calling this out.
