Trump Comes Out Swinging at China and Biden

Donald Trump

( – Former President Donald Trump has promised to do away with all of America’s “essential imports” from Communist China within four years if elected to the White House in 2024.

At the same time, Trump attacked his Democrat successor Joe Biden for having a “pro-China” political agenda.

Trump vowed to cut trade with China in a five-minute social media video on Twitter and Truth Social.

You can watch the video further down this post.

The Trump campaign clip is entitled “Pro-American Trade to End Our Reliance on China.”

“We will revoke China’s most favored nation trade status and adopt a four year plan to phase out all Chinese imports of essential goods, everything from electronics to steel to pharmaceutical,” the former president declared in the video.

“Joe Biden claims to support American manufacturing, but in reality he is pushing the same pro-China, globalist agenda that ripped the industrial heart out of our country. It ripped us apart,” stated the 45th President of the United States.

“Biden and the globalists support raising taxes on American production. They support more crippling regulations, killing American jobs. They support skyrocketing domestic energy costs, and they support massive anti-American multinational agreements that send our wealth and factories overseas,” Trump elaborated.

America’s imports of goods and services from Communist China reached $450.4 billion in 2020, according to data from the United States Trade Representative. That year the US trade deficit with China reached $310.3 billion.

The 2020 US imports of Chinese-made goods included $111 billion worth of electrical machinery and $97 billion worth of machinery, The Daily Caller pointed out in a report.

It noted that several US states are mulling laws to ban companies and individuals with ties to Communist China from buying American farmland.

Meanwhile, Republican US Reps. Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Dan Newhouse of Washington have initiated a bill imposing such a ban on the federal level.

“We will also adopt new rules to stop US companies from pouring investments into China and to stop China from buying up America, allowing all of those investments that clearly serve American interests,” Trump stated in his campaign video.

“We’re not going to allow bad things to happen to our country anymore. And we will eliminate federal contracts for any company that outsources to China,” POTUS 45 declared.

“The heart of my vision is a sweeping pro-American overhaul of our tax and trade policy to move from the Biden system that punishes domestic producers and rewards outsourcers, to a system that rewards domestic production and taxes foreign companies and those who export American Jobs,” Donald Trump elaborated.

Another candidate for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, entrepreneur and conservative activist Vivek Ramaswamy, said over the weekend that the United States must “declare independence” from China.
