Trump Gets BIG News Before Debate!

Donald Trump

( – In big as well as great news for Donald Trump coming right ahead of Thursday night’s presidential debate with Joe Biden, the former president has attained a four-point advantage over the incumbent in a national context, as per the findings of a recent poll.

This information comes from a survey conducted by Quinnipiac University, which was released on Wednesday, The Hill reports.

The data indicated that Trump has secured 49 percent of the support compared to Biden’s 45 percent.

This represents a notable reversal from last month’s survey, which showed Biden maintaining a slender lead of one point over Trump.

When the survey accounted for third-party candidates, Trump’s advantage marginally increased to six points.

The poll discovered that independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has captured 11 percent of the national support.

“The political heat rises in this steamy American summer of discord. Trump holds a narrow lead in the head-to-head matchup and is in a slightly better position when all the candidates are included,” stated Tim Malloy, a pollster at Quinnipiac.

The focus is now shifting towards the inaugural presidential debate scheduled for Thursday night in Atlanta, which is attracting widespread attention.

The survey indicates that nearly three-quarters of the participants are planning to watch the debate, with approximately 16 percent suggesting that the debate’s outcomes could sway their voting decision.

This group includes 13 percent of those favoring Biden, 12 percent supporting Trump, and a notably larger portion—32 percent—of Kennedy’s backers, according to the survey findings.

“A change of heart or a dramatic shift in loyalty when the lights fade on the first debate? Not likely when it comes to Biden and Trump supporters, but those currently supporting RFK, Jr. are a different story,” Malloy further commented on the potential implications of the debate.

The presidential race continues to be highly competitive and closely contested, the report notes.

According to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s average of national polls, Trump is currently leading Biden by a margin of 1.2 percentage points.

This Quinnipiac University survey was conducted over the period from June 20 to June 24, involving approximately 1,600 adults, and has a reported margin of error of 2.6 percentage points.
