(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – After terrorists viciously targeted American naval vessels in the Red Sea, President Donald Trump delivered a powerful warning to Yemen’s Houthi rebels.
The president promised “complete annihilation” if the Iranian-backed terrorists continued their attacks, showcasing a return to America’s strength on the world stage.
President Trump ordered devastating airstrikes against Houthi positions in Yemen following the fourth attack on U.S. naval vessels in just 72 hours.
The military response has already inflicted significant damage on rebel-held areas in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa and the northwestern stronghold of Saada.
The president took to his Truth Social platform to issue a stark ultimatum to the terrorist group.
“Tremendous damage has been inflicted upon the Houthi barbarians,” President Trump declared. “Watch how it will get progressively worse — It’s not even a fair fight, and never will be. They will be completely annihilated!”
The Houthi rebels, who receive substantial backing from Iran, have attacked over 100 merchant vessels with missiles and drones since November 2023, sinking two ships and killing four sailors.
These attacks have severely disrupted international shipping through the vital Red Sea route.
President Trump specifically called out Iran for supplying the Houthis with weapons and technology, demanding they “stop sending them large levels of supplies” immediately.
“America will hold you fully accountable and we won’t be nice about it!” he warned Iran regarding their continued support of the Houthi terrorists.
The recent American airstrikes have reportedly resulted in at least 53 deaths and nearly 100 injuries among Houthi forces.
The rebels’ al-Maisrah satellite news channel broadcast footage showing significant damage, including fires in Sanaa and destruction at a sheep farm in al-Jawf.
Iran has denied providing weapons to the Houthis, with its UN ambassador calling President Trump’s accusations “baseless.”
However, multiple weapons seizures have linked Iranian armaments directly to the terrorist group, exposing Tehran’s lies.
The Houthis have not only targeted shipping vessels but have also interfered with humanitarian aid.
They recently admitted to stealing food aid from a World Food Program warehouse without permission, taking around 20% of supplies meant for starving Yemeni civilians.
These human rights abuses extend to UN workers as well. The United Nations suspended operations in Saada back in February due to security concerns after multiple detentions of UN personnel.
Additionally, one World Food Program staffer even died while imprisoned by the Houthis.
