Trump’s VP: Decision Made!

Donald Trump

( – With Republicans and conservatives nationwide eager to learn who will be Donald Trump’s running mate in the 2024 election, the former president has declared that he has already chosen his vice-presidential candidate but has yet to inform the individual of the decision.

During an interaction at a cheesesteak restaurant in Philadelphia, when probed by journalists, Trump confirmed his decision, stating, “In my mind, yeah,” but emphasized that “No, nobody knows” when asked if the chosen partner has been informed.

Trump, 78, intriguingly hinted that the chosen running mate would be present at the forthcoming debate in Atlanta where he will face off against President Biden, The New York Post reports.

This event is scheduled for Thursday.

An array of prominent figures are slated to attend a viewing party for the debate, including former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, Governor Doug Burgum of North Dakota, and Senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Marco Rubio of Florida, and JD Vance of Ohio.

Representatives Elise Stefanik of New York, Byron Donalds of Florida, and Wesley Hunter of Texas will also be present.

The event will be hosted by former Senator Kelly Loeffler of Georgia and her husband, billionaire Jeff Sprecher, with support from Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley and co-chair Lara Trump.

Additionally, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina is expected to be in attendance, according to a source.

In the lead-up to this significant announcement, Trump’s campaign team has intensified its scrutiny of potential vice-presidential candidates.

According to NBC, which cites discussions with more than a dozen officials, the top contenders for the vice-presidential slot are believed to be Burgum and Vance, with Rubio still in contention.

The 45th president has hinted that he might reveal his vice-presidential choice during the Republican National Convention scheduled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from July 15-18. However, there remains the potential for an earlier announcement.

This development comes as Trump prepares for his upcoming sentencing on July 11, following a 34-count conviction related to hush money payments, just days prior to the national convention.

In preparation for the debate, Trump has conducted policy review sessions with close advisers.

Concurrently, President Biden has been preparing at Camp David with a group of his allies.
