(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – The Arizona House Speaker, Rusty Bowers, a Republican, who was Speaker in Arizona during the 2020 Presidential Election, testified today before the United States House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021, protest at the United States Capitol.
Bowers was unsparing in his attacks on allies of former President Donald J. Trump, who performed as replacement electors in Arizona because they believed the election had been stolen from Trump — at one point calling those Trump allies “The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight” acting in a “tragic parody.”
You can watch the video of Bowers’ verbal attack on Trump’s allies further down this post.
Asked by Congressman U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, a California Democrat:
“Speaker Bowers, were you aware that fake electors had met in Phoenix on December 14th and purported to cast electoral votes for President Trump?”
Bowers replied under oath:
“I was not.”
Schiff: “When you learned that these electors had met and sent their electoral votes to Washington, what did you think?”
Bowers: “Well, I thought of the book, “The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.” And, I just thought, this is a tragic parody.”
