(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Joe Biden insulted an American patriot when, for no apparent reason and without any explanation, he abruptly walked out of a Medal of Honor ceremony honoring a Vietnam War hero who had just received the nation’s highest military honor.

80-year-old Biden decorated 81-year-old retired US Army Capt. Larry Taylor, a helicopter pilot who performed a miraculous rescue of trapped American forces during a Vietnam battle in 1968.
Taylor’s heroic rescue with a Cobra helicopter was “something that had never been accomplished or even attempted over the course of the war,” The New York Post comments in a report.
However, Biden raised eyebrows with his actions during the Medal of Honor ceremony in the East Room of the White House.
For one thing, he took off his COVID-19 face mask even though his wife Jill had tested positive for the virus the day before, and his White House staff had pledged he would wear it.
The report points out, however, that Biden was “accused of being disrespectful” because he suddenly stepped down from the podium and out of the room right after fastening America’s highest military medal on the veteran’s neck.
Biden’s walkout, caught on camera, occurred before Chaplain Brig. Gen. William Green Jr. could read the ceremony’s closing prayer.
The president’s actions seemingly infuriated military veterans.
“Pardon my French…But what a f—ing idiot. The continuous lack of respect Biden has for anyone is appalling. Hawaii, Service members, active shooter victims, the list goes on,” tweeted former Navy SEAL and podcast host Shawn Ryan.
“At least he didn’t check his watch this time,” US Army vet Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas), an Army veteran, wrote on X.
Hunt referred to Biden’s actions in August 2021 when he joined the families of the 13 US troops killed in Afghanistan on his watch to receive their remains.
The president’s sudden departure from the Medal of Honor ceremony left some wondering if he had planned to go early or had another of his “senior moments.”
“Do you think this was done on purpose or just is it more senile moments? I think the guy is so self-absorbed he makes blunders like this. God this man is a massive embarrassment to our nation,” tweeted Gun Owners of America state director for Indiana Tim Harmsen.
