(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – There is an old saying – never bring a knife to a gunfight – that was first popularized by the late, great actor, Sean Connery, as part of his portrayal of Malone, an older cop, in the 1987 classic film, The Untouchables.
Over this past weekend, United States Senator Elizabeth Warren, an ultra-left Massachusetts Democrat, brought a knife to a gunfight with Elon Musk – the entrepreneur and businessman best known for his roles as founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at SpaceX and early-stage investor, CEO, and Product Architect of Tesla.
As you’ll see in the video below, Warren attacked Musk and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for taking advantage of “tricks in the tax code” to pay no taxes. According to Warren:
“You know how much [Elon Musk] paid in taxes, one of the richest people in the world? Zero! And he’s not the only one. Jeff Bezos, another one of the richest people in the world, he pays less in taxes than a public school teacher or a firefighter.”
That was the “knife” attack.
Musk is now on record with this shot from his “gun”: “For those wondering, I will pay over $11 billion in taxes this year.”
They can’t both be correct, and we suspect the man who brought a gun to this political battle won.
