(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – In what many have called a stunning display of arrogance, former United States Senator John Kerry, who currently serves as Joe Biden’s climate czar, was caught on video saying, “We absolutely don’t” need to drill for more oil and gas.

Specifically, as part of a question and answer period during a roundtable discussion at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy, Kerry stated:
“And energy security worry is driving a lot of the thoughts now about, ‘Oh, we need more drilling of gas, we need more drilling of this, we need to go back to coal.’ No, we don’t. We absolutely don’t. And we have to prevent a false narrative from entering into this or, again, pun intended, we are cooked.”

Kerry’s comments were met with immediate backlash from conservatives across the country.
Well-known conservative talk show host Dana Loesch said of Kerry’s remarks: “A guy who doesn’t have to worry about gas prices because of his family’s money and wife’s money has no problem saying something as elitist as this.”
