VIDEO: Matt Gaetz’s Incredible Response to His Own ‘Offensive’ Comments

Matt Gaetz

(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – United States Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida has doubled down on earlier comments in which he described pro-abortion women protesters as “ugly and fat” as he has now urged anybody deeming those comments “offensive” to go ahead and “be offended.”

You can watch a video clip of Gaetz further down this post.

Gaetz’s original remarks last weekend during the conservative youth conference of Turning Point USA in Tampa, Florida, utterly infuriated the left and the mainstream media.

“Why is it that the women with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions?” he wondered before the TPUSA crowd.

“Nobody wants to impregnate you if you look like a thumb. These people are odious on the inside and out. They’re like 5-2, 350 pounds, and they’re, like, ‘Give me my abortions, or I’ll get up and march and protest,'” Gaetz elaborated at the time as he was mocking the abortion protestors.

In new follow-up comments before a local reporter, however, he shocked the leftists even further as he not only didn’t backtrack on what he had said but reiterated it even more forcefully.

In fact, the Florida Republican directly encouraged anybody fuming and getting offended by his words to “be offended.”

“I find these people who go out in these pro-abortion, pro-murder rallies odious and just, like, ugly on the inside and out, and I make no apology for it,” Gaetz told a WEAR-TV reporter this week, reiterating what he said at the TPUSA conference.

“Is it safe to say that, based on your comments, you’re suggesting that these women at these abortion rallies are ugly and overweight?” the reporter asked.

“Yes,” the Florida GOP congressman replied.

“What do you say to people who think that those comments are offensive?” the reporter continued.

“Be offended,” Gaetz concluded bluntly.
