(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Clearly conveying what many conservatives and patriots are thinking about the government excesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, GOP US Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene ripped Dr. Anthony Fauci during his appearance before the US House of Representatives Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
See the video below.
During Monday’s hearing, Greene addressed various issues ranging from alleged experiments on dogs to the enforcement of mask mandates for children in educational settings and challenged the validity of his scientific assertions.
Greene initiated her interrogation by referencing a previous statement from Fauci where he purported to embody science itself.
“You said you represent science. Do you represent science? Mr. Fauci? Yes or no. Yes or no,” Greene demanded, to which Fauci replied that such a query could not be answered with a simple affirmation or negation.
“I don’t think it is,” Fauci remarked, leading Greene to retort, “We’ll take that as a you don’t know what you represent.”
Further intensifying her critique, Greene accused Fauci, as the director of the National Institute on Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health, of endorsing what she termed “so-called scientific experiments” that she found morally reprehensible.
She displayed an image of such an experiment, which was reported by the White Coat Waste Project.
This involved the NIAID, under Fauci’s direction, awarding $424,455 to a university to conduct a lymphatic filariasis vaccine efficacy trial on dogs.
The project, described as “unnecessary” by critics, entailed administering an experimental drug to puppies and exposing them to disease-carrying parasites via flies, before eventually euthanizing them.
“And these experiments that happened to beagles were paid for by the American taxpayer. And I want you to know, Americans don’t pay their taxes for animals to be tortured like this. So the type of science that you are representing, Mr. Fauci, is abhorrent, and it needs to stop,” Greene expressed.
She also accused Fauci of fabricating COVID-19 safety guidelines, such as social distancing and child masking. In response, Fauci denied these allegations, leading to further exchanges between them.
The congresswoman escalated the conversation by discussing financial incentives within the NIH, alleging that NIH scientists had accrued substantial royalties from pharmaceutical companies, which she argued presented a conflict of interest.
“Do you think that’s appropriate? Do the American people deserve to be abused like that, Mr. Fauci?” she asked.
Greene’s confrontational stance continued as she refused to address Fauci with his doctorate title and suggested that his medical license should be revoked, adding, “As a matter of fact, it should be revoked, and he belongs in prison.”
Amidst debates among her colleagues following her remarks, Greene pointed out what she saw as hypocrisy displayed by Fauci during the pandemic, exemplified by a photo of him at a baseball game, apparently flouting the very rules he endorsed.
“Children in school were put in plastic bubbles because of your science — your repulsive, evil science… Healthy children, forced to wear masks, muzzled in their schools, and then they were forced to learn from home because of your so-called science and your medical suggestions,” she articulated, concluding with a call for legal action against Fauci.
“You know that what this committee should be doing? We should be recommending you to be prosecuted. We should be writing a criminal referral because you should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity. You belong in prison, Dr. Fauci,” she stated emphatically.
JUST IN: Marjorie Taylor Greene calls for the imprisonment of 'Mr.' Fauci to his face as she cites a new report where NIH scientists made over $700 million on cov*d royalties.
"NIH scientists made $710 million in royalties from drug makers. A fact that's been hidden."
