(TheLastPatriotNews.com) – Here at The Last Patriot News, we’ve reported on many horrific crimes over the years our team has been in journalism. But, we’re hard-pressed to recall a report as heartless as the one we’re about to share.
As reported by multiple news agencies, a New Mexico woman was captured on a surveillance camera throwing her newborn baby into a garbage dumpster.
If you can stomach it, you can watch the video of what she did further down this post.
According to the police report and as you’ll see in the video further down this post:
“On January 7, 2022, at approximately 8:00 PM, officers with the Hobbs Police Department responded to 1400 block of N. Thorp in reference to a newborn child being located in a dumpster.
“Upon arrival, officers rendered aid to the newborn child, and the baby was transported to a local hospital by Hobbs EMS. The child was subsequently transported to a Lubbock Hospital for further pediatric treatment.
“Investigators were able to retrieve surveillance video of the incident and later located a suspect vehicle.”
And, it turns out the baby was in the dumpster for six hours and was only found and saved because “dumpster-divers” going through the garbage found the infant and called the police.
And, here’s another incredible aspect of this horrendous story. Alexis Avila was released on only a $10,000 bond even though she is charged with Attempt to Commit a Felony To Wit: Murder (1st-degree felony) and Child Abuse. (1st-degree felony). As the kids say, WTF?
What do you think? What is your reaction? Please watch the news video below and email [email protected] and share your thoughts about what the punishment for Alexis Avila should be if she is convicted. We respect all opinions and appreciate all feedback. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
