President Trump alleged that Schumer is “not Jewish anymore,” accusing him of becoming a “Palestinian” due to his criticism of Benjamin Netanyahu after Israeli-Palestinian tensions heightened.

This comment throws into question Schumer’s loyalties, despite his previous staunch support for Israel during and after the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks.
Schumer, a lifelong supporter of Israel, backed the nation vigorously following the Hamas aggression, resulting in approximately 1,200 deaths.
He visited Israel, supporting its military needs and pledging U.S. cooperation.
Yet, his subsequent criticism of Israeli policies during the Gaza conflict and calls for new Israeli elections in March 2024 sparked Republican ire and culminated in Trump’s scathing commentary.
Schumer’s disagreement with the deportation of Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian activist, further fueled Trump’s accusations.
